Our Mission

To help achieve our vision, we have three mission statements:

  1. To understand customer needs so that we can design, manufacture, distribute and support valued products and services in a timely manner.
  2. To create an organizational environment that fosters initiative, teamwork, achievement and quality.
  3. To achieve profits necessary to attain and maintain leadership and provide for future growth.

Nellcor Puritan Bennett (Melville) Ltd. expects that by accomplishing these missions we will support the Corporate Quality Policy and provide growth for our business and employees.

To consistently provide products and services which meet or exceed the quality requirements of our customers through continuous improvement.

Quality is Customer Satisfaction

To achieve, maintain and continuously improve quality is no easy task. Much thought and planning is dedicated to developing and maintaining a Quality System. The first step in this process was to develop our Vision and Mission statements.

Our Vision provides a big picture perspective of what we do and where we are headed.

Our three Mission statements describe where we are today and how we handle our day-to-day business. Our Vision and Mission statements were defined to help support our Quality Policy.

The components of our Quality System-structure, responsibilities, procedures, processes and resources-are all geared to achieving our Quality Policy.

Our certified quality system, which we have sustained since 1997, has proven to be effective in improving internal control, business efficiency and customer satisfaction. Nellcor Puritan Bennett (Melville) Ltd. is dedicated to designing products and providing services that meet or exceed our customer requirements. Our certification to ISO 13485:2003, the international quality standard for design, development, production, installation and servicing of medical devices, helps the Sandman Sleep Diagnostics product team attain our quality goals. Achieving these goals will help us maintain and continuously improve customer satisfaction.
