Sandman Pocket™ portable recorder

Portable, pocket-sized sleep testing.

The new SANDMAN POCKET™ portable sleep recorder enables a patient to be screened for sleep-disordered breathing in the home, hospital or sleep lab. Measuring only 3" by 5", the recorder is convenient to use for a basic sleep study, yet it features up to 14 channels of data to provide more extensive and flexible sleep study results. Optional pH and ETCO₂ channels are also available for more specialized pediatric testing.

The Sandman Pocket portable recorder has a clean, simple design that makes setup easy. A carrying case is included for transport convenience. The patient-wearable recorder and headbox offer unique positioning options, including an armband, to allow patients to sleep more comfortably and naturally.

Data collected during Sandman Pocket studies can be quickly downloaded via a computer's USB port, and overnight attendance by a sleep technician is unnecessary. Studies are scored by the acclaimed SANDMAN ELITE™ sleep diagnostic software for analysis and custom results reporting. The Sandman Pocket portable recorder also interfaces with the Company's GOODKNIGHT™ CPAP, auto-CPAP and BI-LEVEL™ devices to aid with titration.

The Sandman Pocket portable recorder includes market-leading NELLCOR OXIMAX™ pulse oximetry with 2- to 3-second averaging for accurate tracking of SpO₂ and pulse rate values during low perfusion and other forms of signal interference.
